Total e Works computer systems come with a one - three year manufactures warranty.
What is covered by this warranty?
- This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in hardware components only as stated in manufactures warranty
- Removal/installation of defective part only when computer system is brought into Total e Works
What is not covered by this warranty?
- Our warranty does not cover and we are not obligated to repair or replace: Any damage to or defect in the Product that is cosmetic only or otherwise does not affect Product functionality. Under this Warranty, we are not obligated to repair reasonable wear and tear on the product and other superficial items, such as scratches and dents that do not materially impair your use of the Computer System.
- Software, including the operating system and software added to the hardware products or the reloading of the software
- Reconfigure of network, peripherals including but not limited to printers, scanners, fax, camera’s, monitors.
- Products and accessories, (covered by their own manufactures warranty)
Problems that result from:
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power.
- Any Product that anyone other than Total e Works or a person we designate has tried to repair. Any repair or attempted repair on the Product covered by this Warranty by any party other than us or someone we designate will void and cancel this Agreement. We will not reimburse you for any repairs that you or another person make or attempt to make to the Product.
- Any Product that is damaged by fire from an external source or that is intentionally damaged. If we find evidence of intentional damage, we are not obligated to repair or replace the Product.
- Any Product that is lost or stolen. To receive repair or replacement of a Product, you must return the damaged Product to us in its entirety
- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
- Failure to follow the product instructions
- Problems due to viruses
- Problems arising from using parts, accessories or components not supplied/installed by Total e Works Inc.
- Products for which we have not received payment
- Service call onsite to remove defect item.
- Any Product that is lost or stolen. To receive repair or replacement of a Product, you must return the damaged Product to us in its entirety.
- Any recovery or transfer/restoration of data stored on the computer system. You are solely responsible for all data stored on the product. We do not provide you any data recovery services under this Agreement. You understand and agree that Total e Works Inc. is not responsible for any lost or corrupted software or data. Total e Works Inc. strongly recommends that you maintain a complete data backup and disaster recovery plan. In the event of a hard drive failure, Total e Works Inc. will replace the defective hard drive with a blank replacement. It is the user’s responsibility to reload the OS, and any applications.

What do I do if I need warranty service?
- Please contact Total e Works Inc. to assess the problem
- Bring system into Total e Works Inc. (Total e Works can come onsite at current hourly rate)
- Bring in all original CD’s/system disks
- Bring in original proof of purchase
What will Total e Works Inc. do?
- Total e Works will ship and receive defect part; owner will then reimburse Total e Works full cost of shipping.
- Removal/installation of defective part only when computer system is brought into Total e Works.
- In case of hard drive failure, recovery/restoration of data (if possible) and reloading of software to be billed at current hourly rate.
